Coffee With an INTJ

Hey, y'all! Today I sat down with my good friends Rena, the INTJ. INTJs are one of my absolute favorites out of the types (I know I said that about INFPs last time as well, but like, we stan INxx's :)). As an INFJ, I feel like they are the type that I understand and that understands me the most, most likely because we share our dominant and inferior cognitive functions. As intellectual, witty, and reserved people, INTJs have my utmost respect, and I am very grateful that I had the opportunity to learn more about them. Please do keep in mind that not all INTJs are the same, and although they are all somewhat similar in personality (obviously lol), this is the opinion of one INTJ and can not be said to be 100% accurate across the board. I hope you enjoy!      What is your biggest fear?     Oh, that is a very complicated question. Generally speaking, I feel like the most accurate fear I could give you would be failure. I am a major perfectionist and I have the constant philosophy

Coffee with an INFP

Hey, y'all! Long time, no see. This past year has been, interesting, to say the least, and I am sorry I haven't been posting on anything lately. As life slowly goes back to normal (or whatever this is), I would like to get back on a regular posting schedule. I have some really cool ideas and projects planned for the future of this blog! I really hope that you guys like them as I slowly start rolling them out.      This article begins the first in a series, in which I sit down and interview each of the types about their lives, hobbies, ideas, and dreams. I decided to start with the INFP, truly one of my favorite types. Thank you to my very sweet friend, Sylvia Emberden, for sitting down with me and doing this. Without further ado, let's get into the interview :). What is the best compliment you could ever receive? "That I am a decent, kind person." (insert awkward INFP giggle lol). How do you cope with stress? "I try to stay calm, but I am honestly freaki

My Top 10 Thrifting Tips

Image
Hey, y'all! I hope that you guys are doing well and staying healthy during this crazy time. As stores are starting to open up again, I wanted to share with you guys my favorite thrifting tips. I'm just going to hop right into those, and I hope you guys find this to be useful 😊.  1. Don't avoid the "grandma" section. Now, this is actually one of my more recent tips, as waist-length/ cropped cardigans have become super popular lately. I have found some super cute ones in an area of the thrift store that my generation tends to avoid 😂. You can find some awesome stuff that people have simply passed over. Here are some of my inspo pics from Pinterest for this section: 2. For finding the optimal pair of mom jeans: First, you're going to want to know what brands you're looking for. My recommendations are Levi's (my personal faves), Wranglers, Lee Riders, and Calvin Klein. This second tip is only if you go down the path of Levi's, but make sure yo

June 2020 Bullet Journal Flip-Through

Image
Hey, y'all! I know that it has been a hot minute since I posted, (which is definitely a mix of procrastination, quarantine struggles, and in complete honesty, animal crossing 😶...) but I'm back! I wanted to kick off these summer months with a fun carefree, bullet journal spread, therefore, I chose lemonade. Sorry that I am posting this a little later into the month, but what can I say... darn you Tom Nook. Here are my spreads for the month (I am sorry about the lighting. I am in the process of moving, so I will have a better set-up soon.): (as you can see here, I had already begun to use my spreads...) I tried a new playlist format for this month and really do not like it. I think I will go back to what I normally use.  I hope you guys enjoyed this! I tried some new stuff this month, but I think there is a reason that I've done the same layout month after month 😂. I know the world is kinda crazy right now and I hope you all are doing well. Love y

The 16 personalities While Quarentined

ESTJ- cleans everything, but refuses to stay inside and demands to go to the grocery store 😂 ESTP-  spends as much time outdoors as possible and tries not to go insane.  ESFJ- bakes everyone cookies and then realizes they can't give them to anyone and becomes completely miserable at the lack of human connection. ESFP- play board games for a while, get bored, call their friends 700 times a day ENTJ- still is super productive and works their butts off ENTP- tries to pick a debate/ fight with every person in their family until everyone gets sick of them ENFJ- FREAKS out bout their lack of control and cleans everything ENFP- dies due to the fact they haven't seen their friends in so long, winds up calling friends 3 times a day.  ISTJ- works the entire time, and when they are not working, they are sleeping.   ISTP- gets super bored after a while because there is nothing new to try.  ISFJ- reads so many books, like how is it even humanly possible... The Signs That an INFJ Likes You

Image
INFJs are types of people that are either all in or they're not in at all. If one likes you, you can be sure they are very serious about it. It takes me months to think through and convince myself that I have feelings for someone and even then I hardly ever let anyone know for quite some time. INFJs are not very forward people and are generally quite private, so sometimes it can be very hard to tell who they have a romantic inclination for. Here are some signs that an INFJ likes you: 1. We suddenly become very awkward. We are usually not terrible in social situations, but when we like you, our anxiety rises immensely. We only get really awkward if we are around someone we really really like (or if its someone we despise but still want to be polite to...) We also can't flirt worth our lives, which adds to the awkwardness.  2. We remember random facts about you and bring them up later in conversation. It may sound slightly creepy, but I promise it comes from a good place 😂
