How I feel about the ISFJ (as an INFJ)

Good Morning y'all! Today I will be elaborating on the ISFJ personality. I only know a few, which is strange because they make up 14% of the population! I think that this is a really cool type. We both have auxiliary Fe and tertiary Ti. I am excited to get to talk about them right now. Here are a couple of reasons I like the ISFJ.   1. They are hard working. ISFJs work hard at everything they do. They are very determined people. Because they are SERIOUS perfectionists, they work hard to make everything perfect in their eyes, which can sometimes backfire on them.  2.They are enthusiastic. The most optimistic person I know is an ISFJ. She is very bubbly and hyper and is just an all around a bright person. She believes she is a pessimist, and she could easily be one, but she certainly portrays herself as an optimist.   Things that bother me about the ISFJ.  (Now to my ISFJs reading this, please please PLEASE, do not take this personally. These are not base...

How I feel about the ISFP (as an INFJ)

Hey Guys! Happy Thursday! Today I will be talking about the ISFP personality type. One of my best friends is an ISFP, so I am really excited to write about them. They are very sweet people and I absolutely love them! Here are a few things I love about the ISFP. 1. They are genuinely nice people.  Both ISFPs I know are honestly some of the sweetest people ever.  If they have something mean to say, they usually won't say it. They are constantly thinking of making others happy, but they aren't over bearing about it.   2. They are practical. ISFPs tend to be very practical. They tend to be more concerned about the real- world impact of things and problems. They don't have time to sit there and ponder over theories. I need my ISFP friends to ground me sometimes 😂😂. What bothers me about ISFPs (let me just say, this section was really difficult to come up with 😂) 1. They hold grudges. Lots and lots of grudges. The two ISFPs I know tend to hold lots of g...

How I Feel About the ESTJ (as an INFJ)

Hey Guys! Happy Thursday!! I just wanted to let y'all know that I am trying to get on a regular posting schedule, hopefully posting once a week. Classes and extra curricular activities have started back, which means my schedule has been quite busy as of late. I will let you guys know when I officially decide what day of the week I will be posting. 😊  Today, I want to talk about the ESTJ. I have a somewhat limited view of this type, as I only know two. One of the two is a teenager and the other is a senior adult, so there are many differences in the way they act. My grandmother, whom I am very close to, is an ESTJ. Here are a few things I love about the ESTJ. 1. They are reliable. ESTJs are extremely reliable. I can always count on the ESTJs in my life to remember things and to tell me the truth about a situation. They are very honest also, so you can trust that they will tell you the truth about things, even if it may not be what you want to hear. 2. They are VERY organized...

NaNoWriMo

Hey guys! Sorry that I haven't posted all week. I've been home with a stomach bug 😖. Today I just wanted to say that I am going to participate in my first NaNoWriMo this year! I am really excited.😃 If you are not familiar with NaNoWriMo, here is a quick summary. (This is not a sponsored post). NaNoWriMo takes place in the month of November and stands for National Novel Writing Month. During the month of November, thousands of writers across the country take on the challenge of writing 50,000 words. September and October are the months used for "NaNoWriMo prep". This is where you can figure out your plot line, characters, and overall outline for your novel. The only rules are that you write 50K words in the month of November . You can keep working on a current project, but you have to be sure to write 50,000 words in addition to what you already have. If you didn't write it in November, then it doesn't count.  You can register here:  https://www.nanowrimo...

How I feel about the ENTP (as an INFJ)

Hey y'all! Today I will be talking about the ENTP personality type. I have a few friends with this type. I am really looking forward to talking about them. There are many things I love about this type and here are a few of them. 1. They are charismatic.  ENTPs are very witty and definitely know how to charm people. They are very good with people and are truly able to hold a crowd. They can be very captivating, which comes in handy while speaking to or with large groups of people. 2. They are very energetic. The ENTPs I know are always full of energy and are super hyper. Their Ne shoots off into a firework of adrenaline when they are faced with things that interest them.  ENTP weaknesses that I personally find difficult to deal with 1. They can be very self absorbed at times As much as I love the ENTP, this bothers me very much. They tend to get wrapped up in themselves and what they want, how they feel, from time to time. They can become very very focused on themselv...

How I feel about ESFJs (as an INFJ)

Hey y'all! I'm back! I am so sorry that I was gone for so long. Life has calmed down a little, so I am able to finish this series 😁. I am really excited to write about the ESFJ today. My mom is an ESFJ, along with many, many, more of my family members (help I live with a bunch of extroverts!).  There are many things I enjoy about the ESFJ personality type, but there are also some things that drive me absolutely crazy. Here are a few things that I love about the ESFJ. 1. They are truly sweet people.  All of the ESFJs I know are such kind people. They always put others before themselves (except for the one ESFJ I know that is actually a narcissist, but that is a story for another day). They are so sweet and they try to make everyone else happy . They will sacrifice almost anything just to see you smile. 2. They are very friendly. I am basing this one on my mom, but judging by her, they are legitimately the most friendly, talkative people ever. We always wound up staying...

Why I love the INTP (as an INFJ)

Hey! Today I'm going to be talking about one of my absolute favorite personality types, the INTP. I have so many reasons why I love this type. I know my fair share of INTPs. I was doing the math last night, and about 50% of my friends are INTPs ( that is a lot considering how rare they are 😂).  If you know anything about MBTI, it probably comes with no surprise that I love INTPs. INFJs and INTPs are usually referred to as the Myers-Briggs "Golden Pair", whether it be referring to a business partnership, a friendship, or a romantic relationship. As an INFJ, I always like having an INTP around. Alas, you did not come to this post to hear me rant about  how great INTPs are(well technically, you did 😂). Here are some of the many reasons I love the INTP. 1. The random stuff they bring up in the middle of a conversation Interestingly enough, it was an INTP that introduced me to MBTI. A  few of my fellow band members and I were sitting in a classroom...

Why I love the INFP (as an INFJ)

Hey y'all and Happy Sunday! I wanted to start this series off with one of my favorite personality types, the INFP. One of my best friends is an INFP and I absolutely adore her. I know a few INFPs and they are amazing too. The INFP is one of the 16 Myers-Briggs personality types. They only make up about 4% of the population and their dominant function is Fi (introverted feeling). Here are some of my favorite things about the INFP. 1. They are great listeners. If I ever need to rant about a problem (which is rare), I will always turn to an INFP friend. They will sit there and just listen to you talk and then give you solid advice when you need it. If you don't want their advice, they won't force it on you, but will kindly smile and hug you.  2. They are honest with you, even if you don't like what they are saying. If an INFP friend sees you acting out of line or if you do something that they don't like, they will tell you. They might not say it loudly or rudely,...

MBTI Series

Morning y'all! As I have been pondering what to write about today, I realized that I should just write about something I love. About a year ago, one of my closest friends introduced me to MBTI personality types. Little did he know, he was about to start an obsession of mine ( which goes along well with my personality type 😂).  For the past year I have been doing extensive research over these types. It has been very eye-opening for me because my personality type makes up only .5% of the population, the least out of all of the Myers- Briggs types. I have been able to understand myself and the others around me much better. I would like to start a series over these types (the first of many, might I add.) I would like this series to be about how I, an INFJ, feels about the rest of the types individually.  For the next 15 days, I will post an article a day about each one of the types. I am extremely excited for this series and I hope you are too.  Make sure to come back to...
